EASY WAY to thaw GRANDMA'S Egg Noodles

1. Cut 3 slits in top of package.

2. Place in microwave on high for 1 minute for 16 oz or

45 seconds for 11 oz.

3. IMMEDIATELY remove noodles from the package, separate them with

your fingertips.

Noodles can be left waiting on counter top spread out

loosely and open to air.  And that's all there is to it!

Now you are ready to cook the best noodles available!

HINTS ON COOKING PASTA TO PERFECTION:

Bring 4 to 6 quarts of water to a full boil and add noodles.

Perfectly cooked pasta is "al dente" or firm to the bite, yet

cooked through.

When using noodles for cold salad, cook 3 to 4 minutes

longer and rinse in cool water.

Rinse in hot water for use in a hot dish, OR do not rinse

at all for saucing immediately.

Salt is a matter of taste, not proper cooking.
